Emma took care of my child like I would. She gave both me and my husband encouragement. Every question we asked she came with an answer. My son was circumcised and we were not able to be in the room with him. She was there to reassure him that everything was OK. We came back into the room and she was holding him (as if she was a parent) and calming him down. She showed real concern for his feelings. Emma made him feel comfortable, which helped me as a mother know he was in good hands. Emma also helped me feel comfortable. She showed me how to hold him and take care of him after his procedure.

We had Emma a few days. Each day we learned a lot more as new parents. She helped me personally get around because I was not able to due to a C-Section. She always helped me feel like she was not only concerned about my son, but she showed concern about my recovery. Being a first time mom and having the worries about being in the NICU, Emma made me see that there is/was a light at the end of the tunnel. Emma not only helped my family but she was always willing to assist her fellow NICU nurses. She would always ask them if they needed help with anything.
