My daughter has been in the NICU since June 18 and Emily takes care of her often. One situation where she was outstanding was on October 28, my daughter became very sick. Emily identified that she was becoming worse, notified the physicians and worked tirelessly to help my daughter stay alive. She stayed well past her shift to ensure my daughter got the best care.

I cannot begin to write all she did that evening and the entire time my children were in the NICU. She is an excellent nurse and a compassionate caregiver. Not only does she show these qualities in her nursing skills but has always taken the time to ensure my husband and I are alright. That night she took wonderful and amazing care of our daughter but also made sure we had tissues, water, and support. This has been an emotional and stressful time and Emily has made it so much better. I owe her so much and truly believe she deserves this award and so much more!
