My husband was very sick with blood clots on his lungs and he was very scared (even though he did not show it). Instead of admitting he was scared, he joked around and gave Ebonie a hard time. He would make smart comments to Ebonie and she would give it right back to him. He enjoyed Ebonie for just being her and not trying to make him be serious about his condition when he did not want to be. He would go to the desk and talk to the nurses and Ebonie would laugh and joke with him as she did her other work. She has a kind heart and really knows her stuff, but is able to come down to the patients' level. That is what makes her exceptional. Keep being yourself Ebonie!
