We had a nurse who floated from 4 West for resource 7a-7p over the weekend. Our floor has been very heavy since last week. Dorcas Boursiquot's response was above and beyond. She had a positive attitude about floating to our floor. All the overnight nurses I spoke with had nothing but great things to say. She helped the LNAs do vitals and wash up patients in the morning. She was sick, wearing a mask the entire shift and barely could talk from a sore throat. She knew she was floating all weekend, she didn't call out and she still gave 100% to our floor and helping our staff. She was not rushing to get out of here this morning, she waited to make sure the overnight nurses were all set before she even left. We want to give a big thanks to Dorcas for being such a team player and a great nurse to this hospital.
