A patient provided a Yelp review for his compassionate empathetic and altruistic care. The patient and family were moved by his love for nursing and his care reinforced that kindness. The family members expressed the importance of recognizing this type of stellar nursing commitment. On that particularshift,Dodge moved his CABG patient out of the cardiovascular critical care unit on to the floor. After Dodge clocked out he chose to visit with the patient. The patient needed to be walked again before bed. Dodge happily walked the patient and then offered humanistic support. He exhibited in this action the Spirit Values of Rideout Memorial Hospital. Dodge fosters customer satisfaction, going above and beyond to make sure client recollection of treatment is forever remembered in a positive way. Dodge exceeded in selfless critical care nursing. I am proud to nominate him and appreciate him for reaching out and as a volunteer of this community as he demonstrates and supports the ethics and values of a remarkable practicing RN.
