From Patients:
*Not once, but at all times provided "over-the-top" friendly and efficient service.
*Dianne went beyond her duty to care for my husband. Her compassion and kindness we will never forget. We will always remember her.
From Coworkers:
*Dianne is patient and always willing to help. She is a hard worker and makes herself readily available as we need her. She doesn't mind sharing her knowledge and comes to the rescue with hard IVs. She deserved the very first DAISY Award. She is great and a big asset to Cabrini.
*Dianne is a wonderful role model for our staff on 5North. She always shows compassion and understanding to patients and their families. I observe her handling pressure situations calmly. As patient representative she always follows through with what I see patients need. She lives our mission of extending the healing ministry of Jesus.
*...I soon realized that not only is she an amazing nurse, but an awesome person as well. Dianne knows her stuff. Dianne is firm but very compassionate not only to patients and their families but to co-workers as well; she is a no nonsense gal. If any of us have an emergent situation, she is first to say "go I have it covered". I received the DAISY Award last week and I am very grateful for all the nice things that were said. All the reasons that I received the award were instilled in me six years ago by my preceptor Dianne Ramsey.
*There has not been a time when I have called out to Dianne for assistance that she has not been willing to come. My being on a separate unit is not a road block to her. That road of course goes both ways because I would always do anything for her if possible, but I do not recall her ever needing anything! She is a Solid Rock! The commitment she displays to her unit, hospital and nursing as a profession is a wonderful example for the rest of us. Thanks Dianne for being a DAISY nurse way before we even knew there was an award for it!
