1) Received from a volunteer
I have worked here for two years and would like to give my appreciation to a nurse here. For me she is very friendly and always calls me by name and asks if things are going well. But mainly she shows such interest, kindness and thoughtfulness to her patients. She works when I am here with the non stress test patients. Those are patients that come in twice a week for a test. I take the patients back to their room. We pass by Dianne’s desk and if she is there she always greets them with a smile and hello. If they have other children with them she always talks to them too. Today one little girl ran up to her to show Dianne her stickers. If she knows that the mother has her children with her she makes sure there will be crackers and juice waiting for them while the patient has her test. Many times the patient comes back after her baby is born to show the baby off to Dianne (and I’m sure to thank her for all she has done). She brings calm, warmth and happiness to a place where there is sometimes stress. I think TMMC is lucky to have such a valuable friendly nurse.

2) Received from a coworker
I would like to acknowledge Dianne for being such a caring and wonderful nurse. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Her primary role is being an ante partum testing nurse. Most of all she takes time in getting to know her patients and their families. She makes them feel comfortable and safe. For example on two occasions she made transportation arrangements for our patients that have no way of getting to their bi weekly tests. Just recently we had an expecting patient with twins who has no family in the area. The patient brought up she had no car seats for her babies and no money to purchase them. Dianne researched on her day off and found an organization that gives car seats for low income families. So now our patient can feel her babies are safe thanks to Dianne.
