My Dad was released after 13 days in the hospital. All but 1 night was on PCU. He received wonderful care from everyone, but 1 nurse stood out. Denise was always there to answer questions and put my Mom at ease about lab results and translating what the many doctors would say.
My only complaint is the Denise doesn't work 7 days a week! Thank you so much, Denise, for not only nursing my Dad back to health but also taking the time to "nurse" the whole family.
Whenever I would talk to my Mom, she would say, "Denise said..." She was there on his 1st day on PCU and she was there to discharge him home. I have been a nurse for 20+years, and I know the stress and hectic days of bedside nursing. We felt like we were her only patient. So, thanks again Denise for the exceptional care!
