Demi is a true team player, always willing to help out where needed. She could have 6 patients of her own and will still lend a helping hand without skipping a beat! She remains very positive and professional when dealing with patient issues. We had a patient who passed away just before shift change and we were unsure as to how to tell the family - although it was expected, it was a tough conversation to have. Demi jumped right in and volunteered to sit with them and have that difficult conversation.
Demi is absolutely an amazing nurse! During the 10 months that I've worked with her, she consistently demonstrates all the qualities and more of an excellent RN. Her dedication, competence, and positive attitude is evident even during emergency situations. She has her way of handling difficult patients or situations with compassion and care.
She is an extraordinary nurse who truly cares for her patients, families, peers, and physicians. Recently she offered to help GS due to short staffing. However, she was pulled to MSICU last minute because of her ICU experience. When I notified her of the change, she replied "I'm happy to help".
