Deidre is an amazing nurse who cares deeply and personally about her patients. She cared for me throughout my chemo treatments, Herceptin, and now for my port flushes. I have a very difficult port which requires a longer needle and specific positions to be able to access it. Dee has been amazing with it. She has always accessed my port with one stick and limited discomfort to me. She takes her time and is very careful to make me comfortable. In addition, she is so sweet and caring. Her patients are family to her. She doesn't just treat you, she gets to know you. She cares about you and your family and does everything she can to make the terrible process of fighting cancer as easy as possible. She is amazing and makes you feel a little more comfortable when you're fighting this terrible disease. She is truly a gem.
