Deborah went above and beyond to meet all my aunt's needs in her last days. She was not only making sure my aunt was comfortable and not in any pain, but she was also there for our entire family. My aunt was in ICU for 11-12 days, and Deborah was always the same and gave 110% to take care of her patients and their families. One night, close to the end of my aunt's life, Deborah sang the most beautiful songs to comfort my aunt and family. When we asked her to sing again before she passed, she didn't hesitate. All nurses, especially when family is losing a loved one, should have the compassion she has. She definitely cares for her patients and families. I'll always remember the care she gave to my aunt and the comfort for my aunt, brothers, sisters, and daughter during her last days on this earth.
A hospital is not a place anyone wants to die; my aunt had great physicians, nurses and most of all Miss Deborah. We will all cherish her for taking such care of my aunt. After my aunt passed away, I called Deborah and she came to my aunt's funeral and sang the same song she did before her passing. She went the extra mile and beyond and I had not even met her prior to my aunt's hospital stay.
We truly appreciate Deborah and hope she continues to have the compassion she showed us for her patients, which I know she will.
What a great nurse and blessing ARH has in Deborah Adams.
