Debi has been an RN for 30 years and has been an inspiration to nurses in the community. Debi has been the lead for the Cerro Coso LVN program. She has been a role model for nursing students and has provided support and guidance to numerous students. Her students cannot say enough about the impact Debi has had on their lives and careers.
As a Perioperative Services Nurse who works in PAT/SDS/PACU and the Infusion Center, Debi has been instrumental in providing assurance during a very stressful time. Her patients and their families state their anxiety was greatly reduced having Debi’s knowledge, kindness, and experience at the bedside. “With Deb there, you know you will have someone who can advocate for you.”
Her peers state that Debi is always patient, kind, helpful, pleasant and gentle. She displays superb leadership with a kind word for everyone. She was described as the “best nurse I have ever worked with”.
