Dave was my husband's nurse for several days. Those first several days after surgery were difficult, especially because my husband was very anxious and worried. Dave was very patient explaining things many times and reassuring my husband that he would be okay and never getting annoyed with us. He was always very calm, confident, personable, and professional.
My husband had a groin incision that would not stop bleeding. Finally, Dave just sat there and held pressure on it until it stopped, all the time just visiting with us. We thanked him on numerous occasions and he always said he just treats his patients like he would want to be treated.
Even when we weren't under Dave's care, he stopped in to see how we were doing. And the day after we came home he called to see how my husband was getting along.
