During the DAISY recognition event in her honor, Dannielle Eramia was surrounded by her fellow nurses, health care team colleagues and loving husband to recognize and share stories of her dedication and patience during the most difficult of circumstances.

Eramia works in the Division of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) within the Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases. She brings out the best in everyone who comes in contact with her at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, said Amber Denbleyker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who works with Eramia and submitted her co-worker's nomination.

"She easily brings out strengths in a family that continually faces challenges," Denbleyker wrote. "She helps other members of the medical team see the strengths in the family and creates a goal-focused environment for the doctors and other nurses to get this child home successfully."
