I was brought in for my heart. Shortness of breath, chest pain-lots of pain. After being cared for by many great people I was released in a short time to home. I was rushed back to St Vincent's due to my heart. After doctors did what needed to be done. I was released from the top floor after gallbladder surgery, a short stay but she took great care of me. She is EXTRAORDINARY. Very dedicated, she brings light into the room, a warmth, kindness, ready to handle my needs, be it an extra blanket, to set the thermostat, to check and ensure my fluids were set - nothing was out of order. She was there if I needed a change of sheets or an extra pillow. If needed and was allowed - I had ice chips. If my family called, she would replay my messages to me. My meds were on time, she monitored all changes if any, and kept in touch with the doctors from my surgery. She was very polite and well-liked. She helped make me well. I trusted her as with other nurses-exceptional interpersonal skills. Very professional. My care was excellent.

RN Dana was a dedicated RN. Dana stayed over till other RNs were on duty. No matter, Dana said I would be fed, I was. I had water when allowed, my bed was cleaned, Dana would assist me in my position in the bed, assist me to the restroom keeping the monitoring equipment attached. Has exceptional clinical skills with all the IVs and blood, injecting to prevent blood clots, my diabetes my Afib, heart rate. Excellent RN for St Vincent's.
Dana, I was there due to my heart. He and I were able to talk about his watch. Told me all the things it was able to do besides tell time. She checked on me and stayed a bit longer to ensure I was OK before he went home.
