Daisy always has a smile and kind affirmations, even when the unit is enduring the season! She takes pride in our unit, decorating for the holidays, planning birthdays and events, participates in many fundraisers and education functions. I have worked in many hospitals over the past 10 years but have never had a leader with such compassion and dedication. She puts her employees' happiness first and the result is our family - the Observation unit. She is a professional. She has skill when we have difficult patients and is extremely hard working. She has exceptional listening and speaking skills, can solve problems and understands our troubles perfectly. She has remarkable interpersonal communication with other nurses and others of the staff. As a leader, she is integral, empathetic, humble, influential, and positive.
