Cynthia showed the most incredible compassion in a very difficult situation. On 12-9 a 13 yr old arrived in cardiac arrest. Cynthia was with the family. At one point she offered to make molds of the child's hands for the mother to take with her. What Cynthia did went above and beyond. Emotionally she was incredible. Cynthia is an amazing, helpful, and wonderful RN and what she did for this grieving family was incredible.

The mold was not easy to make due to the size of the child and our available materials. Cynthia would not give up and used amazing innovation to create a keepsake for the mother. Cynthia continued to care for this family long after the care of the patient ended as they had an extended grieving process. For over six hours, Cynthia managed her other duties along with ongoing compassionate care of a grieving family.
