Cynthia has such a cheery disposition. Every time she came into my room I just felt better. I was crying and upset one time and she just took the time to listen and give me a positive affirmation. She helped me think of at least one good thing about myself and say it at least 3 times before she left. When I couldn’t eat she brought me crackers and ginger ale and made sure I ate some. When I needed my medicine it was always on time and she explained everything it was and how it would help. She also brought me a book from her own home after we talked about our mutual love for reading, and all the hospital had was magazines. By the way, the book is so good and a great distraction for what I’m going through.
