Compassionate, professional, and outstanding performance. I've had CP (Cerebral Palsy) since I was an infant. I have had difficulties my entire life and I've gotten teased, and bullied for being "different". When it comes to being hospitalized I become embarrassed (almost ashamed) for not being able to move my lower extremities and I require help to move when needed. Cristina treated me with the utmost respect and made me feel as normal as I ever have felt being in the hospital. Cristina understood what I needed and was willing to listen to me and not ignore me on how to move my legs and the rest of my body. She didn't speed treat me to get to her next patient, she explained what she was doing, what needed to be done, etc. Cristina treated me like a person and not just a paycheck. She went above and beyond when caring for me while being at Antelope Valley Hospital.

Cristina cared for my heart, I wanted coffee and she said no, it would make my heart rate go up. I'm having problems with my high heart rate and blood clots and she told me everything was going to be all right.
