Had it not been for Courtlynn really paying attention and getting the things I needed I wouldn't have made it out of this adrenal crisis.
I have Addison's disease and not very many people know about the disease and the effect it has on the adrenal and pituitary system. She listened to everything I needed at home and got me everything to have to the supply at hand. My blood sugar will go from the normal range to the lower teens in a matter of seconds. She understood that and was a great advocate for me in order to receive the care I needed without going into a coma. She's one of the many assets that are needed for your company. I did speak to the nurse manager in order to create a guide from start to finish that I'm working on with another hospital in order to better educate your nurses after I was told I had 45 minutes before anyone could help me when I've only got about 10 minutes before going into a coma. Had it not been for Courtlynn really paying attention and getting the things I needed I wouldn't have made it out of this adrenal crisis. She resolved my crisis in less than 8 minutes.
