Corinne exhibited a certain compassion and intuitive nature that made me feel very relaxed.
I had major back surgery in November. Besides my hemoglobin drop and subsequent two blood transfusions, I had also developed a sinus headache in recovery. Though I discussed this with several health care professionals the medications ordered did not help. By Saturday tears were flowing from the intense sinus pressure.
Corinne was working the 7:00 am to 7:00 pm shift Saturday, Corinne compassionately listened to my health concern and understood the need for me to get immediate relief. I was unable to work with PT or OT on Saturday. The room needed to be dark, with no sounds. She immediately contacted the doctor. The doctor evaluated my condition and ordered Zyrtec and Sudafed. Within hours the pressure started to subside.
Corinne constantly checked on me which made me feel like a dear friend was with me. Due to COVID restrictions not having friends or family visit and help to console the patient is quite difficult.
All the nurses and physicians that were part of my care took very good care of me. However, Corinne exhibited a certain compassion and intuitive nature that made me feel very relaxed. For this, I am extremely thankful.
