My father became critically ill, which was very sudden, as he had never really been sick in his life. The initial outlook from the doctors was not good. I felt helpless and lost, that I could not help my dad. After he had a few surgeries, he was placed in the 6th floor ICU. Not knowing if my father was going to survive, I felt the need to be with him at all times; so I decided to stay overnights with him, even though he might not have known I was there. I was desperate for something other than my faith, such as confidence in the doctors, some family support, or other perspectives, so that I could feel good about my dad beating this. That confidence came from Christopher, I really appreciated his hands-on approach for my dad and family. He was very informative in what he was doing, explaining in depth the practices and processes my father needed to go through. I appreciated his teaching methods and learning tools that he provided so that I could understand what my father was going through. He took great care and continues to take care of my dad. You can really see the passion he has for medicine and people by simply observing his work ethics and personality. I will be forever grateful to the entire staff that helped my father get well. With all my heart, thank you.
