My dad was admitted to the ICU for breathing problems. Christie's kindness made a huge impact in our family's life. Unfortunately, we got a call at 1:30 am that dad wasn't doing well and we thankfully got back in time to say goodbye. She was so nice and gave us the room and space we needed. Christie later came into the room and presented us with a vial with a printout of dad's last heartbeats. My dad had six children, 15 grandchildren and we were able to replicate this and present this to all his children and grandchildren. At the lowest time in our lives, we were all touched and profoundly grateful for this incredible act of kindness. A person who was a complete stranger has now become so important in our lives. We will never forget her and her thoughtful gesture. She made our grief a little more bearable and for that, thank you doesn't seem enough.
