Christie Johnson is the Cardiac Resource Nurse here at the Main Operating Room at St. Joseph Hospital. CJ works tirelessly to ensure that our Cardiac heart program remains one of the top programs in the State. Her Reverence, Excellence, Integrity, Quality, Compassion, and Teamwork cannot be boiled down to a single situation. CJ lives these traits, and always exemplifies each and every one of them. On top of her day to day nursing duties, CJ oversee a dedicated Cardiac staff of (5) others nurses as well as (6) Surgical Techs, inventories her supplies, and maintains and tracks all of the tissue valves kept in the Cardiac Core.

CJ has been tasked with a lot of duties here and no matter how stressful the day, or how busy she is your can always catch her with a smile on her face, taking extra care of her patients, training staff and is always willing to help and answer any questions you may have. I feel CJ is more than deserving of this honor, she plays a key role in making our Cardiac program one of the top programs in the State, and it is people like her that will take the program to the top.
