Christi runs the Aneurysm/Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Support Group in Sacramento. She took care of a UC Davis patient - a child who suffered from severe neurological injury after the spontaneous rupture of an AVM. The patient's family decided to take the child home with ventilator support. However, at home there was no heating or air-conditioning, so Christi raised money in the Aneurysm/AVM Support Group to have their home remodeled to accommodate the child with his ventilator. The parents are very grateful and message Christi frequently to express their gratitude.
