Chacey is our unit fall champion and takes her job seriously. She is a positive influence, truly listens to our concerns, and is innovative in coming up with ideas on how to prevent falls.
Chacey has been a great team leader for our Unit Fall Team. She has collaborated with the staff on educating Hester Davis, she has been auditing 3-4 charts/week on fall compliance on our unit. She makes weekly rounds on our fall patients and her main focus is to speak to our non-compliance patients and make them receptive through education. She is also our Hospital Fall Committee member, she has encouraged other members of our Unit Fall team to participate and attend the Fall meetings to bring their ideas and concerns. She also coordinates our quarterly Unit Fall meetings to disperse the data and important information to the staff.
Chacey is a huge part of the 10-Blue team, especially when it comes to patient safety! We want to recognize Chacey's hard work and dedication in keeping our patients safe here on 10-Blue. Chacey is a great role model of what a nurse should be, she is dedicated to patient safety, always gives others a hand when in need, educates our patients to help them understand our main focus is their safety and needs. She goes out of her way to make sure each and every patient that is admitted on the unit is safe by making badge buddies for us to remember our HD fall risk precautions. Chacey is a huge benefit to our patients' safety with her hard work on the fall committee!
Chacey constantly goes above and beyond to ensure that not only her patients are safe, but all patients on our unit are safe. Chacey is an active member of the fall committee and continually provides education to the floor about changes and ways that we can be safer taking care of our patients.
Chacey is our unit fall champion and takes her job seriously. She holds monthly fall meetings and updates floor staff on how we can provide safe patient care. She is a positive influence, truly listens to our concerns, and is innovative in coming up with ideas on how to prevent falls. She is a true leader on our floor and is never too busy to educate or help. I often call on her when I have a question about Hester Davis or when I need help safely transferring a patient. She is also an excellent communicator and helps patients to understand why fall interventions are necessary for their safety. Chacey is a fall rock star and truly passionate about patient safety.
