Carolann has gone above and beyond the call of duty many times over.

A husband whose wife was dying expressed to Carolann his desire to lie in bed with his wife one more time. She made room in the patients bed for him (which was extremely difficult to accomplish due to all the equipment, lines, etc...). This man was able to hold his wife in his arms for several hours until she passed away. He was forever thankful for the gift she gave him.

Carolann recently took a birthday card, balloons and a tiara to a patient who had been transferred from the MICU to the floor. She recruited several nurses to go with her to sing the Happy Birthday Song to this young lady who was overjoyed at the gesture. She will never forget that.

These are just a few of the extraordinary things that Carolann does to make a difference for her patients and their families.
