I just wanted to let you know how amazing Carla Roberts was on Thursday evening.

A patient had been faxed to numerous facilities since CFP was full. All of those facilities were calling Carla for the patient's labs. The labs were not on the chart since the patient had come in as a "Jane Doe". Carla tracked down the labs, printed them and faxed them to all of the facilities. Then she facilitated the accepting facility with a form request we do not normally use and had them fax it to us!

She actually did her job and my job too in order to expedite the patient's transfer. The beautiful thing is that she was not even complaining, she was just letting me know what had transpired! I know it was a lot of extra work and that transfer wore her out!

Carla exemplified going above and beyond for this patient. She was a team player and did not "pass the buck" leaving these tasks for someone else to handle. She really was a superstar and the patient and I appreciate her!!!!
