I came into Grandview non-responsive, overdosed, and a number of failures. I was placed in a coma for 10 days for my own safety. After those 10 days, I became responsive and alert. Then I was moved to the Cardio Unit. My first couple of days back among the living I could not sleep. I would close my eyes and have horrible nightmares. I was highly agitated. My nurse, Ms. Bri did all that she could to comfort and ensure all was going to be alright. I felt ill, I didn't have a bible and could pray my demons to be lost. Ms. Bri went and looked high and low attempting to find me a bible. After an hour's search, she came back and told me she couldn't find one but don't be despaired. She left a message for the chaplain with my request and also asked him if he would stop by and comfort me. The next morning true to her word the chaplain came. He prayed with me and gave me a bible and peace of mind. My nurse, Ms. Bri, has motived me with her get wells.
