When I came to SV Maternity, I assumed I would be checked out and sent home. I was 36 weeks pregnant with my third child. Unfortunately, I was admitted for an emergency C-Section. Bri came into the room to prep me for surgery. I was a mess from working in the garden. She cleaned me up, prepped me and reassured me that I was in good hands. She never made me feel bad for asking a million questions or being nervous.
My C-Section had complications which included an abruption, lots of bleeding and a baby that was rushed to special care. Bri remained calm and reassuring. I was then lucky enough to have her as my nurse for the next two nights of my stay. She was extremely positive and genuinely happy for every positive step our baby made toward recovery. She went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were comfortable. She was quick to respond but her responses were never rushed. She is the kind of nurse other nurses should aspire to be like. We were very fortunate to have her as a part of our care team.
