Bill Ferguson at the PACU demonstrated extraordinary level of care for my Father following his kidney stone surgery. Bill explained that he loved to serve families like us, and he went on to demonstrate this service through doing everything in his power to make my Father's stay in PACU comfortable. He was so caring and made sure to go above and beyond to ask my Father if he needed anything. Bill even found salt when my Father requested it for his juice. He also warmed his food up in the microwave making sure it was warmed to his specifications. He made sure my Father was comfortable in his level of pain and temperature as he woke up from surgery. He was so compassionate, caring, and nice to my Mother, myself, and my Father during this time. If ever there is a perfect example of a nurse who deserves a DAISY nomination, it is Mr. Bill Ferguson.
