Who knew you could wake up just like any other day, and then all of the sudden, you're in the hospital for 6 weeks and have gone through 21 surgeries. One moment you're in the passenger's seat and the next, life will never be the same. Honestly, I can't give you many details of those 6 weeks, the little memories are just blurred moments. But, I can tell you about Bianca, she is in the only clear and good memories I have from those 6 weeks. Even though it was only a few encounters, I always knew when it was Bianca, and it was always because of how she would care for me. She took care of me with kindness and love. I was a person who was just barely holding onto life. I wasn't just a room number to her. I was someone who lost her life, but yet was still breathing. I had lost all control, and she felt my pain and had compassion for me. She treated me with nothing but her best and delicate care, like my life was in her hands.
She even went out of her way to give me numbers to rehab and facilities that could potentially help me. She didn't just hand me random numbers that I didn't understand. She took the time to explain how, what, and why each number could help because she truly wanted me to get better. I can never explain the impact she made in my life, and the deep impression she left in my heart forever. I'm truly grateful for the life God has spared me at the hardest time of my life, but I can truly say I was still blessed because God sent me Bianca, my angel.
