Ben went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. His care medically and personally gave me confidence and relief. Thank you for assigning him to my care!

Ben was so diligent and compassionate in his care for my daughter while she was here (North 3rd floor). He clearly explained the various tests she would be undergoing and why. His cheerful manner made my daughter comfortable during her stay and she felt confident when/if she needed anything Ben would be there.
As a parent, I so appreciated his keeping me informed, and ensuring the doctor knew I wished to be present when they visited my daughter. His kind, pleasant manner combined with his professional manner helped us get through a worrisome time. My thanks to Ben!

Ben is one of the most caring and courteous young men. He will do anything for you in any way. I'd be happy to have him again.

Ben is a responsible, caring, and compassionate nurse. Not only does he care for is patients, but he also cares for the family members at the bedside. He takes his time when providing care and is a great listener. Besides being a nurse, he's an amazing and supportive team player. No matter what Ben has going on, he lends a hand if needed and that is why he is a DAISY Nurse.
***
Always very helpful. Pleasant and respectful. Takes time to explain to patients about what is happening. Brings ideas instantly to improvise when a situation is very tight.
***
He is an excellent nurse.
***
He is there in a flash to help us and has the solution to every problem. He's friendly, informative, and just plain nice.

Ben is superman, spiderman and all superheroes rolled into one. He accomplishes all his duties with such compassion, expertise, and total care that it amazes me! As I am about to transition my husband from hospital to home, I watch Ben as he does his daily duties to get tips. I truly wish that I could clone him and take him home with me. Go Ben!

My husband had (and has) pneumonia and had a very traumatic experience on Monday. He couldn't breathe due to a negative reaction to meds in his breathing treatment. (Meds were later changed) He thought he was going to die. Ben sat on the edge of the bed with his arm around his shoulders and said "I'm not going to leave you. I'm going to sit right here with you until you feel better." Then the emergency team, respiratory therapist, doctor, etc., were all working on him. Ben stayed right there with him or close by. He was such a comfort to both of us.

Ben exemplifies the best qualities in nursing. His care and concern for his patients is his top priority.

Every time I arrive to work, and Ben is in staffing, I know it will be a good day. He is always so positive, helpful, and caring towards patients and staff. I know that if I ever need an extra hand or a good laugh Ben will be there for it. I love how Ben is always willing to ask questions and continue to learn and grow in his nursing practice. Ben is a wonderful and crucial asset to our 3 North team!
***
Ben is a great communicator always taking his time with his patients and discerning any concerns the patient or family member may have. He always has a smile on his face even when he's getting pulled in every direction. Ben is a great person to have to work beside. He's quick on his feet and always willing to help when needed.
***
Ben is a great team player! I often see him bending down to talk to a patient sitting in a chair to be at the patient's eye level. Ben will sit and explain procedures at length to patients and repeat it for each family member. Ben is a relatively new nurse, but one would not know. Patients love him!
***
Ben is always ready to help without holding back. He is knowledgeable and empathetic to his patients. He goes above and beyond to make his patient comfortable. He is on time to work and reads about his patients before starting the day. He is respectful and always ready to help.

Ben has on multiple occasions cared for exceptional patients with unwavering care, compassion, and empathy. Particularly one patient who repeatedly accused Ben of multiple false, hurtful statements. This patient was confused, and Ben did not let it bother him. Ben cared for this patient the same way throughout the day and was able to therapeutically manage the patient's care. Ben is truly a DAISY Nurse.
