Barbara is compassionate, loving and caring all rolled up in one. She is your friend, your family, your neighbor. She is THE nurse that everyone wants to care for them. Before you ask her for what you need she is already there with it, like she read our mind. We have so many stories of special things she has done for me and my husband. This one means the most to us. My husband had a liver transplant and was very sick afterward. His stomach was burned with chemo and he wasn't able to eat for several weeks. He had lost a lot of weight and the Dr's were treating him with meds trying everything to get him to eat again. We couldn't find anything at the hospital he would eat. Barbara asked him if there was anything he could think of that he might be able to eat. He said maybe an egg and cheese biscuit. The next morning I woke up and saw Barbara going through the door. I looked on the tray beside my husband's bed and there was a sack with two egg and cheese biscuits. My husband ate one that morning and the other that evening. She had stopped before work that morning and brought these biscuits just for him. The wonderful things she does just comes to her naturally. We love her and will never forget her kindness.
