I was taking my husband to visit his neurologist when he collapsed on the street. Ashley, on her way to work, stopped what she was doing and ran over to help me. As fate would have it, my husband collapsed right outside of the ER. Ashley was immediately "on it", as she checked his breathing, heart rate, and got him in to the ER. The staff in the ER triaged, and within minutes, my husband had a team of doctors and nurses working on him. Time will tell what a difference Ashley's interventions had on saving my husband's life. It's impressive when a nurse is "on duty" and does her job well. It's an inspiration when a nurse is an impressive nurse even when she is off duty!
