Ashley Corwin, LPN, IBCLC always goes above and beyond in everything she does. She is so passionate about her job and it shows. Ashley has established a Donor Milk Program at IUH Jay and has helped make us one of the most progressive Level 1 hospitals in the state. Not only does she provide inpatient assistance and counseling to new mothers regarding breastfeeding, but she also continues to follow-up with them when they are discharged. Ashley ensures that every mom that is breastfeeding has a breast pump and then goes the extra mile by storing the pumps we distribute so she can provide teaching on how to use the pumps during the postpartum period. Her dedication shows in everything she does and I look forward to watching her grow and expand our program.
