A passion for nursing: You can see that Anne has a passion for her job. She is always looking for ways to further her education and to learn new things to better the outcome of her patients. She is constantly seeking more. She will always go above and beyond and do what needs to be done for the patients without complaints or push back.
Clinical excellence: Anne excels in her practice. She is a huge advocate and cheerleader for advancing on our CNAS and being certified. She has multiple certifications. She encourages and helps other staff members become certified. She shares her educational binders, tests questions, testing websites, testing codes. Gives you tips and tricks and so much more! She helps to guide staff through the clinical advancement ladders so that they can advance. She mentors staff through each person's binder, finding points for them or ways to get points.
Coming from the ICU Anne has a vast wealth of knowledge that she shares with her coworkers and her patients/patient's families. Anne is always looking for new learning opportunities to better herself. This coming December she is going to NYC for a large GI conference to bring back new knowledge to her coworkers and help improve patient care and turnouts.
An integral member of the team: Anne is always willing to go above and beyond. She doesn't complain if her lunch is at 3 pm or if she missed her break. She will do what it takes to ensure safe patient care. She is always willing to stay late for procedures, patient care or our advanced procedures. She is very flexible with her schedule and will work to meet the needs of the department. She is always willing to go to the procedures that no one wants to go to.
Having Anne on our team is an asset to our department. From her wealth of knowledge, encouragement to do more and be more for her coworkers and her willingness to do what needs to be done she is incredibly valued in the GI department.
