Angie is a wonderful person and is also very professional. She always has a smile on her face and is never in a bad mood. She was ALWAYS helpful to everyone. It was not beyond her to help a patient with whatever it was that they needed. She is also very compassionate. She would feel the pain that the patients were going through and would pray with them to give them strength and faith. Again, she is a wonderful person and I love working with her. (IMCU Staff Member at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center)
Angie is the most compassionate, sweet person that I know and is also very professional. There is not a thing that she will not do for her patients and she is very consistent with her care. She is an excellent example of what a very good nurse is. (IMCU Staff Member at GRMC)
The compassion that Angie shows towards her patients does not end with her patients. Angie’s compassion is extended to the families of her patients. Angie puts herself in the place of her patients and her patients’ families and by doing so, she addresses not just their medical needs, but also their emotional and spiritual needs as well. (ICU Nurse at GRMC)
Angie is a professional and compassionate nurse. Besides being a flexible and adaptable nurse, she is a team player and leader that provides quality patient care. I learned so much from her during our “Rapid Response Calls”. When it occurred, I witnessed Angie (on numerous occasions) as the designated ICU nurse, exemplify a clinical expert with a solid technical foundation combined with the critical thinking skills to adapt to the unique condition of each patient. As Angie led the Rapid Response Team, she gave the nurses that she guided the feeling of being included and involved in the situation. Angie provided respect to fellow nurses and nurtured team performances while giving positive and constructive feedback when things were completed. I was one of the nurses that was given the lifelong gift of confidence through Angie’s ability to impart knowledge gained by years of experience in the critical care setting. (ICU Nurse at GRMC)
