Ms. Angela Bussie, RN, from the Huntsville VA Clinic, serves as a nurse in the Mental Health Clinic. A Veteran had recently relocated to Alabama and was having trouble in refilling his medications. The Veteran stated the following, "Everyone tried to help but kept saying nothing could be done. Angela understood my need for treatment, and went 'above and beyond' to ensure all avenues were covered. I am now processed and set to get my medications in the mail." The Veteran was so appreciative of the tenacity exemplified by Ms. Bussie. He concluded the nomination by stating, "Thank you, Angela, for the extra effort. I may be able to save my marriage now!"
