Andrew took care of our mother for three days in a row in the CVICU. The first day she was sedated and on a ventilator. He is a very skilled nurse, but his greatest asset is the compassion he has for his patients. He seemed to truly care for our mom and treated her as if she were one of his own family.
He listened to us (the patient's daughters), explained everything in detail to us, and followed up on any suggestions or questions we had. Andrew made us feel like part of the medical team. When our mom improved and was able to come off the ventilator, Andrew called to let us know and seemed just as excited as we were. He is an extraordinary nurse and a wonderful person.
