I live in Florida and was unable to come to Vegas when my mother was hospitalized. Alyson was assigned to my mother. She was unbelievable in her concern and care of my mother. I was extremely concerned about my mother and Alyson spoke with me on the phone for at least thirty minutes. She explained what the doctors were planning for my mother and answered all my questions. She also called me after the procedure to let me know my mom was out of surgery and doing well. She also explained what the next procedure would be. Alyson called me the next day, even though she was working in a different unit. She let me know my mom was out of surgery again and doing ok. Alyson made me feel I was a part of every step of my mother's care. I have never come across a nurse so dedicated, caring and comforting as Alyson Blight. My mother cannot stop raving about her. She is truly an asset to your hospital and a comfort to her patients. Words alone cannot express my family's gratitude to Alyson for all she has done for us. Her caring goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. If Alyson is an example of the quality of your staff, you must truly have a wonderful hospital.
