During my hospitalization which lasted over 2 months, Alvina Rogers was kind, compassionate and so patient with all my questions and concerns. Not only was her care exemplary, but she often called after shifts to check up on me.
Alvina brought me fruit after I told her I was allergic to most of the fruit served at the hospital and offered to bring me coloring and reading books to brighten my day. She often greeted me with hugs and always took great care when administering shots and medication. She would sit with me during my monitoring and share stories with me.
Alvina was a great source of comfort during such a stressful time in my life. Knowing that she was my nurse for the day always lifted my spirits.My family and I will forever be grateful for the care and kindness she demonstrated.
