The nursing care I received was extraordinary. The team of nurses showed compassion, kindness, patience, knowledge and possessed the ability to make me feel as if I were being treated by family members. Alisyn took my care a step further and went into the extra-extraordinary range. From the moment she came into my room, she explained why things were happening and why she was doing certain things. She was always right there when I buzzed for help. I really appreciated the fact that when I wasn't quite due for my meds, she always came right in to check on me and find out what was going on; she explained how long I would have to wait or if she could call the doctor. Alisyn advised me to let the doctor know when the pain meds weren't working well for me and together we worked with him to find something better. I really felt like it was important to her that my surgical experience at JMC be as painless and pleasant as possible.
