Alexia Bonkowski holds nothing back when it comes to assuring that “Patients Are First.” She is kind, attentive, compassionate and empathetic. She works tirelessly to assure our patients clinical needs are met and they are fully educated on the health conditions for which they are being evaluated. She recognizes that each and every patient perceives their own health issue is “urgent” and she acts with similar urgency to provide access to every patient. Alexia’s positive attitude is infectious and the care she provides improves the lives of the patients with whom she works. She is an outstanding role model and is dedicated to her patients, providing exemplary care on a daily basis. She provides emotional support when needed and allows our patients to leave UWMC with hope. She is truly deserving of the DAISY Award.
