My husband was put in a double room with a man who turned the TV on high and let it play all night while he slept. After 2 nights of no sleep for my husband, I talked to Alex and she was able to get my husband transferred to a private room. The change made a great difference in terms of recovery. He was able to get the sleep he needed. How we both appreciated that help! She was very gracious about it. Alex acted as if my husband was the only patient under her care. She was so bright, and she remembered and acted upon every request of the doctor. She explained things to us that we didn't understand. She was smiling and positive in every way. My husband had stitches on his arm that were to be removed during the time he was in the hospital. She called the doctor and made arrangements for the hospitalist to remove the stitches. Alex was exactly what you would want a nurse to be. She made my husband's stay in the hospital much easier and better!
