Abby discharged a patient whom she cared for all weekend. Coincidently, she cared for the patient's husband a few months back. The patient left behind a poem for Abby. The poem shows how much Abby touched this family with her care.

To see you again after all this time puts a smile on my face, although it would be nice to see each other somewhere other than this place.
When I'm around you I know you care, I see it in your eyes and the way you laugh and smile when you're near.
You are the kind of nurse that everyone needs on their side because with your personality I don't feel I need to hide.
I just want you to know Abby you make my stay something I can get through because you are so special, sweet and kind showing this in all the things you do. Abby, you're a special young lady with a big heart, showing your patience, you care right from the start.
