We only had Abbie as our nurse for one day and that's all it took for her to touch our hearts and leave a lasting impression. When I arrived on Wednesday afternoon, Abbie greeted me promptly and was happy to give me an update. I was very impressed with her observations of my daughter. Abbie stated that she noticed she liked to be talked to. Yes! She is very social and loves when the nurses talk to her. As Abbie and I provided care to my baby girl together it became even more apparent that Abbie is an angel on earth, a gift from God in heaven. She was very calm, caring in everything that she did. The way she stood there patiently next to the incubator giving my daughter a gentle and reassuring touch until she relaxed/settled down, touched my heart in a way that I can't even explain. She spoke in a soft calm, soothing voice. She even sang to her which was absolutely beautiful and above and beyond the call of duty. It didn't take me long to realize that Abbie had a heart of gold! Abbie, please know that you are appreciated! You really are the hands and feet of Jesus as evidenced by how you care for others. We would be happy to have you as our nurse again! Thank you!

I want to thank Abbie from the bottom of my heart. This person in my opinion and my wife's opinion has been an angel that the Lord has sent us to take care and protect my twins. She is great at her job and has a great personality. Aside from her job, we could see the grace and her touch from the Lord of demonstrating love through care that has impacted our lives. It is in people like Abbie that is truly needed during a difficult time in a career of servitude. Abbie, you are and will be forever in our hearts. We thank you and the hospital for being the best in the world in our opinion, for our family! Definitely, there is a presence of the Lord here. We love you Abbie!
