Where do I start? When I met her I was like oh gosh this is really serious...because she is looking like she means business! But as time went on and I met with Teresa daily as she was that face of confidence I awaited every morning, I grew a great sense of security. She always left me feeling informed about my daughter's health care. She took the time to explain things where I could understand them which meant a lot in a scary situation such as transplant. I felt "she had my back" in this and we weren't alone! I feel as if she sensed my fear and she did her ultimate best to ease it by being so informative. And there were days my daughter suffered really bad from GvHD and I remember her working diligently to help her doctor come up with some type of comfort for her. I will always be grateful for that!

Teresa not only displayed her "nursing" instincts but also a "mother's" that sympathized with another mother with a hurting child! And for that...Teresa Meadows is my DAISY!
