My mother had surgery on her cervical spine and my brother and I spent the night in her room that night. I call Shannon our "angel nurse". After a long stressful day and anticipating an even more long, tiring night, Shannon was a comforting presence. She truly went above and beyond any expectations we had. Her demeanor and patient care skills were extraordinary. My mom's stay was three days and she was fortunate to have Shannon as her nurse the following day as well. Shannon treated my mom, as well as me and my brother, with exceptional compassion and consideration. We all truly appreciate everything Shannon did, along with her sharing her friendly, pleasant personality with us. Shannon deserves recognition for her efforts.
