Ryan was never my assigned nurse. He was working with my roommate when I stood up to take a walk and the seal of my ostomy bag let go. This had never happened to me and I was appalled and embarrassed. He heard what was going on and quickly and calmly came over to do an initial cleanup. Most importantly, he made me feel better about the whole episode. He had just the right touch and I appreciated his quick rescue!

Ryan is very professional but also at the same time, very caring. Took time to make sure all was good. He got us whatever we needed as fast as possible. He never showed a frown, but always smiled. He took the time to talk with us, explained whatever was needed. He is a very good role model for male nurses so that they know it is about skill but also showing care to patient and family.
